Hi Can anybody help? I'm trying to find out if I imagined a painting from my youth or if it does exist and who painted it. I thought it may have been a Renoir or Degas put can't locate it so I've decided I must be imagining it. It's of a woman sat either by or on a bath (hence why I thought of Renoir and Degas). It's painted from slightly behind her to her left. She is combing or brushing really long red hair with her head bent down. All you can really see is her right shoulder and back. I seem to recall it may be pastels though or certainly that haziness. Do I really have a very vivid imagination or does it exist?? Thanks

Perhaps Toulouse-Lautrec. I believe he painted a lot of red-haired women -- or the same red-haired woman a lot.
