We got a very large painting in the other day by Thomas Pell. I can't find much about him, and I can't find this painting. We may have the original its on canvas and in really good shape.
The only Thomas Pell I can find is: Thomas Pell (1608–1669) was a physician who was famous for buying the area known as Pelham, Westchester, New York, as well as land that now includes the eastern Bronx and southern Westchester County. I don't think they are the same Thomas Pell. I can find some of his painting on e-bay but not this one. I attached pictures. Thanks |

It's definitely not the historical Thomas Pell. The kids look Asian to me, which might be a clue that "Thomas Pell" is a Chinese painter in a mass-production studio.
