I have been trying, to no avail, to find the name of this painting for years! I saw it once in a gallery, but can't remember which gallery or when :-s
Anyway, here's a description... The colours are predominantly blue, there is a seated sorrowful looking man as the main subject of the painting looking directly into the observers eyes or at least, facing the observer. It is rendered in lots of different coloured blue lines, sweeping over each other to form the outlines of the figure. The man is tall and thin. I think the background is white, or at least a plain colour, with nothering much going on in the background. I think it is a fairly modern work of art, from the last 100 years or so. Please help me! |
