D.P.Nelson watercolor

I have this watercolor that has a unique signature. The artist incorporates a drawing of a mouse or bird in their signature. I found a reference to a Margaret D.P.Nelson but can't find any images.

Does anyone recognize the signature or know anymore about Margaret?

The image only dimensions are 12 1/2x9
