I have just purchased an oil on canvas signed P. Venezia, from an estate sale, with a paper label on the back that states the artist was born in Rome, 1932, was a teacher, exhibitor, and did only private exhibits. Its a picture of some fruit, beautifully crafted I should add. There is a registation number of 340171 stamped on the back of the canvas as well, in an oval cartouche of some kind. With signature on painting lower left corner, and on reverse side, states by P. Venezia. I can't find a thing on him, except someone else from the 14th century. Can anyone help me? If he is still alive, he'd be close to 90 or there abouts. Thank you all so kindly for any help!
