Default ceiling painting - hallway into sistine chapel

Can anyone help identify this painting? I found it on the ceiling of a hallway leading into the Sistine Chapel. The text on the bottom of the painting says: "S ROMVALDVS CAMALDVLENSEM EREMVM IN STITVIT". Thank you.
