    Back in the 1970s, I painted a seascape in the style of Frederick Judd Waugh. I lived in Nottingham at the time and sold the painting to a Mr John Poppel. I now live in Seattle USA and would love to trace the painting and purchase it for my wife. I would appreciate anyone giving any clue to where the painting is. It is titled "The Headland", and my name is on the back (Brian Jackson) along with the date it was painted. I think I also signed the front.

    I think the most likely way you are going to find it is to track down Mr. Poppel or a member of his family. They might have some insight into where it is now. It seems to be a pretty uncommon name, so if you can find the right people search tool you might have some luck.
