  • Identify painting(s) by description

I saw some great artwork on Twitter recently but cannot remember the name. I believe it was by a British artist. The tweet contained 4 paintings, and the caption was something along the lines of "these paintings capture the feel of post-world war 2 working class Britain", had quite a few likes/retweets (I thought I retweeted it but after scouring through my profile I cannot find it). The paintings were of houses and blocks of flats at unusual angles (I think one was of the bottom corner of a house), and the colours were unusual if I remember correctly. Cannot remember the name of the paintings or artist, if someone recognises the art I am describing let me know.

Not exactly sure of what you mean by unusual angles. Bendy houses..abstract art...surreal? Unusual colours? They depict post war Britain working class...painted recently? Perhaps one of the northern artists...Alan Harris? http://the-northern-school-of-artist...is-artist.html

Not Alan Harris, but thanks again for alerting me of his work, it's also really interesting. By unusual angles I mean, for example, a painting of the end of a house and the path leading behind it. The colours were fairly bright (I.e. purple, green) but also muted, if that makes sense
